ARL is a group of researchers solving critical scientific problems and generating knowledge for the future. The organization's structure and values promote innovation through dynamic interdisciplinary collaborations.

ARL divisions also collaborate with other organizations at the University of Arizona and world-wide. Examples include: BIO5 (The University of Arizona Institute for Collaborative Bioresearch), National Geographic's Genographic Project, Arizona Cancer Center, Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center, the Micro/Nano Fabrication Center, and many others.
Support services for ARL divisions are provided by the ARL Business Office and the ARL Biotechnology Computing Facility.
